A former professional gambler explains why playing a slot machine is no way to win. He explains why winning at slots is not random, and why no skill is involved. He demonstrates how to program one of the popular slot machine models, which in itself proves that slot machines are programmed to take your money, instead of paying you a jackpot.

Dude, anyone can win. He’s talking about probability in the long term, the factor behind ALL gambling. Anyone can go to a machine once and stick in 10 coins and walk away with 500 coins. But if you went to a machine everyday for the rest of your life and put 10 coins in,, do you think there is a probability of you being in profit? The answer is yes, theoretically you could be, but the odds against you is so big, your comment holds no argument. Theats why we agree with him and sadly you dont.

Older machines paid out after a certain amount of money was collected so they would not normally run out of money. Nowadays, a casino can adjust the payout from hard to easy after the machine, or block of machines have earned enough money, regardless of whether the money is still physically inside the particular machine or not. The machine might have been recently emptied, or it was set to payout easy because the block of machines it was in earned enough money.

this video makes quite alot of sense. but last weekend i won $60 on a slot machine and it stopped paying out after about 20, i asked the floor manager what the problem was and it turns out that the machine was empty but for the 20 something dollars. this goes against the principal that a machine pays out after it collects too much. how is this explained?

These skill stop machines come from Japanese casinos and clubs. Here in the US, they are turning up in private card rooms, and underground casinos. Last year local police raided an illegal casino and confiscated almost 80 of these imported skill stop machines. Currently they can legally be purchased for between 200 and 400 dollars from several catalog sites on the internet.

That is correct, but they all still work on the same principle. These skill stop machines also have a bonus round, and in the easiest setting it pays off every time during the bonus round.

i can some what believe this, but then again i dont.. as a regular slot machine player ive lost some and ive won some, but most slots now days have bonus rounds that usually pay out pretty good as well as having wild reels.. these skill machines arent really around anymore.

That was fun when you inserted real coins into the machine. Now, it just like a lottery pull-tab. Slot machines are no fun anymore.

(Part 1) This kind of videos is the reason why I have so many people in my casinos asking the kind of stupid questions like: “where is the key??”. “Is this one fixed to win today???” “are you going to tight it up???”. First of all, your machine isn’t a “casino” machine. Get one real first. Second, you should research a little bit more before you make a so public statement about a serious subject like gambling business to avoid appear an IGNORANT person (to be continued)

?Far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity. For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways. Job 34:10-11

“He who oppresses the poor to get gain for himself, and he who gives to the rich will surely come to want” (Proverbs 22:16).

Yes there is a way to win at slot machines. Get a dollar go to the penny slots. Get free beer. Expand your dollar and just think of it as playing a glorified arcade game that gets you free beer. My girlfriend taught me that! No professional gambling experience required.

I use slot machines to get free booze in Las Vegas. Use the penny slots and drink beer. Don’t play to win, play to get a buzz and waste time. If you win good for you, but don’t do it solely on the desire to win

No matter what you say, slots are good to keep the lady busy while I’m at the tables. And a few times she had some signers. You all know what signers are right?
