I’ve heard horrible stories about the Blackjack being the buggiest phone alive. However, it’s got cheaper data plans AFAIK (you can use Media Max 200, etc.) and it’s Windows Mobile, so you can play media files. That’s always a plus.

But, the Pearl also now has media as well (you’ll just have to search around to learn how to use it, and buy a microSD card) and the data plan is a bit expensive, but it includes push email. I, myself, am a Blackberry (7290) user, and the Pearl may not be the best option if you’d prefer a full QWERTY keyboard like that on the Blackjack. You might want to go for the Blackberry 8700c or the 7290.

It’s up to you in the end as to which you feel you’d like better. The 8125 and 8525 are pretty good phones as well.
